Papamoa - 60min Zenthai Shiatsu Session

Bodywork with JLo offers Zenthai Shiatsu, a nourishing blend of Thai Massage and assisted stretching, ZenShiatsu (Japanese bodywork) and Osteopathic Remediation techniques.

This restorative modality can reduce pain and inflammation and calm the nervous system to support the body's innate healing abilities when it feels deep rest and relaxation.

Zenthai Shiatsu is a fully clothed session, so please wear comfortable clothing to move around easily and covering the body as your body temperature will drop during the session, Ideally bring long tights/pants, t-shirt or long sleeved t-shirt and socks to wear for our session. There's a bathroom upstairs if you need to change.

If possible, we recommend making space after your session so that you aren't rushing to the next thing or something that's high intensity/stress.

To find us, we are located upstairs at Alliance Athletic. When you arrive, park on site on on the road and enter the building by going through the door to the LEFT of Burn Pilates. We are up the stairs, then the next door on the left after Te Ao Marama.

Bodywork with JLo offers Zenthai Shiatsu, a nourishing blend of Thai Massage and assisted stretching, ZenShiatsu (Japanese bodywork) and Osteopathic Remediation techniques.

This is a restorative practice to move and free the body from pain and inflammation, with presence and intention to bring a deep sense of rest and relaxation so that the nervous system can allow the body's innate ability to regenerate, rejuvenate and heal itself.

JLo also helps support the community to connect with their bodies, as a Personal Trainer/Coach (CrossFit, Strength and Conditioning), through mindset, movement, mobility, playfulness, and connection and with themselves, others and nature.

Our vision is to help guide others start their inner voyage of self discovery: exploring practices for strong and adaptable mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being - love, freedom and possibility!

I just had my first ZenThai treatment and it was so lovely! JLo was kind, calm and welcoming and instantly put me at ease. I find it hard to switch off during traditional massage but I felt so relaxed and really dropped into the session. Already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you JLo!

Wow, what a beautiful experience. I haven’t had a Zenthai Shiatsu massage before and it was incredible. JLo chatted with me before the massage to find out where I was holding tension and any areas we wanted to focus on. It was so relaxing, I felt so supported by JLo and it just felt like a lovely big cuddle 🥰
